Our 3-year-old filly Ribot’s Valentine closed out a nice Saratoga meet for us by finishing 3rd in a salty first-level allowance in the nightcap on Labor Day.

The NY-bred Ray Handal trainee didn’t let the rain or sloppy track bother her, as she broke like a rocket and carved out the opening fractions before tiring late. Coming off an eight month layoff, and taking on winners for the first time, Ribot’s Valentine showed she’s competitive at the allowance level and we look forward to seeing her back on track at Aqueduct soon!
